Standing on books for World Theatre Day
For World Theatre Day I have decided to photograph myself standing on books. In addition to this photo, I have taken another photo of myself in a different space, standing on a different pile of books, in a different pair of shoes. I have sent that photo to the World Theatre Day Tumblelog, here.

I’m intrigued Ian. Are these the books that lift you up where you belong etc?
You’ve got me thinking about a similar pic of books that hold me up.
Sweet … and happy WTD09 to you too.
Hi Kate,
Are these books that lift me up where I belong? Sure. Let’s go with that. Actually, I don’t think I’ve read all of them. So many words. But a couple of them are great.
It seemed like some kind of action was required to celebrate World Theatre Day. So the idea here was to create a gesture that for me wouldn’t exist without WTD. And Boal says we’re all actors, right?
I’d love to see your standing on books photo. That would be awesome! Will I see it on your blog?
